ホビット族の武器鍛冶職人であるDodegarは様々な素材を使用した"究極の武器"を作ろうとしている。
プレイヤーは彼の頼みを受けて素材集めに奔走する事になる。

Dodegar: I'm glad you came along, I could do with a little help if you're not too busy.
(Dodegar：来てくれて嬉しいよ。もし君にちょっと時間があるなら、僕が少し手助け出来るかもしれないよ。)

Dodegar: I'm Dodegar Bandysnoot, the world famous Hobbit swordsmith! Perhaps you've heard of me?
(Dodegar：僕はDodegar Bandysnootっていうんだ。世界的に有名なホビットの武器鍛冶職人さ！ひょっとしたら僕の事を聞いた事あるんじゃないかな？)

Dodegar: No? Oh... Well, I've had an idea about how I could make the best weapon that the world has ever seen!
(Dodegar：無い？ああそう…。まあともかく、僕には史上最高の武器のアイデアがあるんだ！)

Dodegar: But, I need some help getting the special resources to make it.
(Dodegar：でも、それを作るには特別な素材が必要でね、集めるために助けが必要なんだ。)

Dodegar: You'll help?! Excellent! We shall gather enough resources to make one for each of us!
(Dodegar：手伝ってくれるの?!最高だね！一緒に協力して作るのに十分な素材を集めよう！)

Dodegar: So firstly, I need some living wood for the handle, [10 Wood Scrap] should be enough.
(Dodegar：そうしたらまず始めに、柄に生きた木材が幾つか必要なんだ。[10個のWood Scrap]があれば十分かな。)

Dodegar: It must come from the Wood Sprites that can be found across the river to the west. The handle can then mold to the user's hand!
(Dodegar：西にある川を越えた所にいるWood Spriteから採れるんじゃないかな。それで作った柄は持った人の手にしっくりと馴染むのさ！)

Dodegar: There's an enourmous ancient stump there that seems to attract the creatures... Good luck!
(Dodegar：凄く大きな古い切り株があって、そこに集まって来ると思うから…。幸運を祈るよ！)


ステージ2

Wood SpriteからWood Scrapを10個集めてDodegarの所に持って行く。

ダイアログ:
Dodegar: Wow! You got the wood I needed, thanks!
(Dodegar：わお！僕が欲しかった木材を持ってきてくれたんだね、ありがとう！)

Dodegar carefully selects the finest piece of wood from the pile, and begins carving.
(Dodegarは慎重に、木材の山から一番質の良い物を選ぶと削り始めた。)

Dodegar: While I'm making the handle, could you help me with the blade?
(Dodegar ：僕が柄を作っている間に、刀身の方をお願いしてもいいかな？)

Dodegar: I'm gonna need a very special metal. There is a cave to the east with a tribe of iron beasts, known as Golliers.
(Dodegar：とっても特殊な金属が必要なんだ。ここから東にGolliersっていう鉄の獣がいる洞窟があるんだけど。)

Dodegar: Collect [17 Gollier Iron] from them, and I can use them to create my masterpiece. It will never break.
(Dodegar：そいつらから[17個のGollier Iron]を集めて来てよ。僕の傑作を作るのに使うからさ。絶対に壊れない武器さ。)


ステージ3

GollierからGollier Ironを17個集めてDodegarの所に持って行く。

ダイアログ:
Dodegar: Ah, Gollier Iron, perfect...
(Dodegar：ああ、Gollier Ironだね。完璧だ…。)

Dodegar carefully examines each bar of iron and selects a single iron bar from the pile before him.
(Dodegarは丁寧に1本1本鉄の延棒を調べると、1本の延棒を選び取った。)

Dodegar: Great. This one looks like it will work! Yes, this will make a truly awesome weapon.
(Dodegar：良いね。こいつは上手く行きそうだ！うん、これは本当に素晴らしい武器になるぞ。)

Dodegar: While I make the blade, would you be able to find something to sharpen it?
(Dodegar：僕が刀身を作っている間に、これを磨き上げる物を何か見繕って貰っても良いかい？)

Dodegar: I need soft whetstones to get the sharpest possible edge.
(Dodegar：可能な限り鋭く磨き上げるにはやわらかい砥石が必要だな。)

Dodegar: But being soft, they grind away to nothing in no time, so I will need a few, [30 Soft Whetstone] should be enough.
(Dodegar：だけどやわらかいから、すぐに粉々になってしまうんだ。だから幾つか必要なんだ。[30個のSoft Whetstone]があれば十分かな。)

Dodegar: They get washed down the river from the mountains. The big waterfall to the south-west is usually a good place to find some.
(Dodegar：砥石は山から川で流されて来るんだ。南西にある大きな滝なら探すのにちょうど良いんだ。)

Dodegar: But I believe it’s salmon spawning season in that area, and they can be aggressive. Be careful!
(Dodegar：だけど確かこの地域では鮭が繁殖する時期だから、鮭が攻撃的になっているかもしれない。気をつけて！)


ステージ4

川でSoft Whetstoneを30個集めてDodegarの所に持って行く。

ダイアログ:
Dodegar: Finally! You took your time! This weapon is seriously going to be the best thing I've ever made.
(Dodegar：やっとか！ゆっくり集めてたんだね！この武器は本気で僕が作った中で一番の物になりそうだ。)

Dodegar begins sharpening the blade as he said that.
(Dodegarはそう言うや否や刀身を磨き始めた。)

Dodegar: Well, I need a last thing... A weapon can't be an “Ultimate” one without intense magical power!
(Dodegar：それじゃあ、最後に必要なもの…強い魔法の力がこもっていなければ"究極"の武器にはなり得ない！)

Dodegar: While I finish sharpening the blade, would you get [24 Royal Bug Blood]?
(Dodegar：僕が刀身を磨き上げる間に、[24個のRoyal Bug Blood]を集めて来てくれるかい？)

Dodegar: I assure you that is the last thing I need! Just follow the road, take the bridge, and search for some ruins. I should be done with the whetstone when you come back. Good luck!
(Dodegar：これが最後だからさ！その道を進んで橋を渡って、幾つか遺跡を探してみて。君が戻ってくる頃には磨き終わってると思うから。幸運を祈るよ！)


ステージ5

Royal BugからRoyal Bug Bloodを24個集めてDodegarの元に持って行く。

ダイアログ:
Dodegar: Ah... Finally... My masterpiece... Let me imbue it with the blue blood!
(Dodegar：ああ…遂に…傑作だ…その青い体液で染めさせてくれ！)

As Dodegar said that, he quickly grabs the blood and perform a strange ritual.
(Dodegarはそう言うなり、体液を素早く引ったくると奇妙な儀式を始めた。)

Dodegar: ...
(Dodegar：…)

Dodegar: Look at it! It's looking amazing! Don't you think? Since you helped me to make it, I will give one to you!
(Dodegar：見てよ！素晴らしいと思わないかい?!手伝ってくれたお礼にこれをあげるよ！)

Dodegar: I want you to hold it during your adventures! I want the history books speak about this mighty blade!
(Dodegar：君の冒険で大事にして欲しいな！歴史書でこの強い剣の事を語り継いで欲しいからね！)

Dodegar: Thanks for your help and good luck!
(Dodegar：手伝ってくれてありがとう、幸運を祈るよ！)


補足

・本クエスト開始前に必要な素材を集めておけば大幅に所要時間を短縮できる。
・報酬の武器は、ホビットの村にいるArtefact Merchant（居場所は[ -895 , -4525 ]）に7LE(=28,672エメラルド)で売れるのでくれぐれも捨ててしまわないように。
