Olux周辺には巨大な獣の噂があり、どうやらその噂は真実らしい。
プレイヤーはDeregの依頼を受けて、獣の痕跡を追い正体を突き止める。

Dereg: Oh, you look tough. You must be one of those humans I keep hearing about, right? People talk about your kind all the time.
(Dereg：おお、君はタフそうだな。僕がいつも耳にする人間ってヤツかい？皆、君みたいな種族の話をしているよ。)

Dereg: You know, that you're all scrappers. Tough as nails, and willing to kill all sorts of beasts, you know?
(Dereg：君たちは皆戦っているらしいね。爪の様にタフで、あらゆる獣を殺す事を厭わないと、そうなんだって？)

Dereg: I think you know what I'm getting at. I saw some massive thing lumbering around the swamp one night! Tall as the trees, it was.
(Dereg：僕の言いたい事が分かるだろう。ある晩、沼地で何かデカい奴がのそのそと歩いているのを見たんだ！木々の背丈ほどはあったよ。)

Dereg: I couldn't make out the details, but if its size was any indication, it could just step over the Olux walls and wreck the whole town!
(Dereg：詳しくは分からなかったけど、もしそのサイズが目安になるなら、Oluxの壁を飛び越えて街を破壊してしまうかもしれないくらいだな！)

Dereg: Of course, there's so many scam artists around here trying to sell anti-monster underwear or whatever that no one believes me.
(Dereg：当然、この辺りにはモンスター対策用の下着を売りつけようとする詐欺師どもが沢山いるから、誰も僕の話など信じてくれないんだ。)

Dereg: So, that means it's up to you! Ehm, supposing that you're willing to help out, at least... The one thing I know for sure is that it was eating something.
(Dereg：だからつまり、君だけが頼りなんだ！ええと、少なくとも君に助けてくれる気があるなら…。確実なのは何かを食べていたという事かな。)

Dereg: See that blood on the ground? That stuff is fresh. Follow it, see where it leads, and hunt that beast before it does something terrible!
(Dereg：地面についてる血痕を見てくれ。新鮮な物だ。そいつを辿ってどこに繋がっているのかを確認して、その獣が何かヤバい事をする前に狩るんだ！)

※再度Deregに話しかけた場合
Dereg: That blood trail ought to lead you to wherever the beast went. Hunt that thing down for us all!
(Dereg：その血痕を辿っていけば獣が向かった場所が分かるはずだ。僕達の為に奴を狩ってくれ！)


ステージ2
血の跡を辿って行く。

ダイアログ:
Tolem: Oh, this is such a mess! And my axe is busted, too...how am I going to get this fixed?!
(Tolem：ああ、これは大変だ！斧も壊れちゃったし…。どうやってコイツを直せば良いんだ?! )

Tolem: I can't pay for- AAAH! H-Human! What do you want?! Not a good time!
(Tolem：金も無いし——あああ！に、人間！何の用だ?! タイミングが悪いんだが！)

Tolem: Something destroyed my cow pen and wrecked up my entire farm!
(Tolem：何かが俺の牛小屋を破壊して農場全体を滅茶苦茶にしたんだ！)

Tolem: And they were solid, good-quality Willow, too...uff...
(Tolem：しかも丈夫で質の良いヤナギ製だったのに…ううぅ…。)

Tolem: Wait, what? You're hunting the thing? Well, that's fine and dandy, but do you think you could help here first?
(Tolem：待て、何だって？奴を狩るんだって？まあそれは良いんだけどさ、まずはこっちを手伝ってくれないか？)

Tolem: I have an idea of where it went, so...you scratch my back, I scratch yours?
(Tolem：奴がどこに行ったか見当はついてるしさ…、困った時はお互い様だろ？)

Tolem: Okay, this can work, this can work! I have to figure out how to fix this, and some of my cows ran off in a panic.
(Tolem：よし、これならイケる、これならイケるぞ！俺はコイツを直す方法を考えなきゃいけないし、牛の何頭かはパニックを起こして逃げてしまった。)

Tolem: So, you can take care of them while I re-plan my fencing. Simple enough, right?
(Tolem：だから、俺がフェンスを直す計画を練ってる間にお前はアイツらの面倒を見るんだ。簡単だろ？)

Tolem: Three of my cows ran off. Look around the farm for them. They were eating, so look for fallen wheat on the ground!
(Tolem：逃げた牛は3頭だ。牧場の周りを調べてみてくれ。食事中だったから、地面に落ちてる小麦を探すんだ！)

再度Tolemに話しかけた場合
Tolem: Go on, hop to it! I'm waiting for you right here!

逃げた牛達を探す。

Tolem: Oh, back already? I haven't even finished my stuff, where are the cows?
(Tolem：おお、もう戻って来たのか？まだこっちの作業は終わってないんだが。牛達はどこだい？)

Tolem: ...
(Tolem：…。)

Tolem: ...eheh. You. You're. This is a joke, right? We're having a chuckle?!
(Tolem：…ハハハ。お前。お前さ。これ何かの冗談だよな？笑う所だよな?! )

Tolem: WE'RE JOKING, RIGHT?! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S HOLY TELL ME THIS IS A JOKE!
(Tolem：コイツは何かの冗談だよな?! 頼むから冗談だと言ってくれよ！)

Tolem: WHAT IS THIS?! ARE YOU BRAINDEAD?!
(Tolem：何なんだコレは?! お前頭悪いのか?! )

Tolem: NO, WAIT, YOU'RE HUMAN, THAT'S THE PROBLEM! IDIOT THUGS, ALL OF YOU!

Tolem: Uff, settle down, Tolem, settle down...you can still salvage this...

Tolem: Alright, two things. Your new name is Idiot, and I'm changing our deal. You owe me [10 Willow Planks].
(Tolem：さて、2つ言いたい事がある。お前の新しい名前は"バカ"だ。で、取引の内容を変更する。お前には[Willow Planks] 10枚の借しがあるからな。)

Tolem: You're going to help me get at least one thing around here working. You get the wood, I'll keep looking over the fencing.
(Tolem：1つくらいはこっちの手伝いをしてくれ。お前は木材を集めて来るんだ。俺はフェンスを見ておくから。)


ステージ4
[Willow Planks]を10枚集める。

木材は沼地周辺に生えているWillowから採取出来る。

ダイアログ:
Tolem: Oh lovely. Idiot's back! Joy of joys. Willow planks, please.
(Tolem：ああ素晴らしい。"バカ"が戻ってきた！喜ばしい限りだ。柳の木材を渡してくれ。)

Tolem: Good. Even if you've got murder on the mind constantly, you have decent woodcutting arms.
(Tolem：よし。殺しの事が頭から離れなくても木を切る腕はあるんだな。)

Tolem: I'll sell the remainder of these planks to try and recoup the money for my cows you mulched.
(Tolem：この木材の残りを売ってお前がマルチングしてくれた牛の代金を回収するよ。)

Tolem: So go on, get out of here now. Make yourself useful and follow the giant footprints in the ground. Hunt something that NEEDS hunting, instead of cattle!
(Tolem：さあ、今すぐここから出て行け。役に立つ事をして、地面にあるデカい足跡を辿るんだ。狩るべき奴を狩ってこい、牛じゃなくてな！)

Kroac: Oh, I'll never be able to fix this with my back in this state...
(Kroac：ああ、こんな状態の腰じゃとても直せそうにない…。)

Kroac: Oh, look at this...all my years of carpentry and my bad back does my poor house in.
(Korac：ああ、これを見てくれ…私は長年大工仕事をしているが、腰が悪くてこの貧相な家は直せそうにないんだ。)

Kroac: What on earth could have done this?! It must be the biggest beast in the swamp!
(Kroac：一体何が原因なんだ?! 絶対沼地の一番大きい獣の仕業だ！)

Kroac: I was just sitting inside having some dinner, I hear some rumbling, and suddenly my house is falling apart!
(Kroac：家の中で食事をしていたら、ゴロゴロという音が聞こえて突然家が崩れてしまったんだ！)

Kroac: You human folk are good with physical labor, I hear? Do you think you could help me out here?
(Kroac：君達人間は肉体労働が得意なんだろう？ここで私を助けてくれないか？)

Kroac: There's a mine just over there. Think you can get [10 Cobblestone] out of it?
(Kroac：あそこに鉱山があるんだ。そこから[Cobblestone]を10個採ってきてくれるかな？)

Kroac: I'll go find someone who's selling any spare wood for the roof...
(Kroac：私は屋根の予備の木材を売っている人を探してみるよ…。)


ステージ7
[-1560, 50, -5442]の鉱山で[Cobblestone]を10個採掘する。

ダイアログ:
Kroac: Did you get enough cobblestone? I found a guy down the street selling this top-quality Willow...
(Kroac：丸石は十分手に入ったかい？私はこの通りで最高級のヤナギ材を売っている人を見つけたよ…。)

Kroac: Good, perfect. That should be enough. Though, I do have one other thing to ask you, soldier.
(Kroac：よし、完璧だ。これで十分だろう。しかし、もう一つ頼みたい事があるんだが、兵士さん。)

Kroac: My back's already screaming at me just from lugging the wood over here, there's no way I can climb up there and fix the roof like this.
(Kroac：木材を運んだだけで腰が悲鳴を上げているから、私がこのまま上に登って屋根を直すなんて無理だ。)

Kroac: I can compensate you for the trouble, but d'you think you could do some patchwork for me with that cobble?
(Kroac：手間賃は出せるから、君がその丸石で補修をやってくれないか？)

Kroac: Oh, you're a saint. Can't imagine why the guy was grumbling about humans... Just climb right on up the ladder!
(Kroac：おお、君は聖人だ。あの人が人間に文句を言っていた理由が分からないね…。それじゃあ梯子を登って行ってくれ！)

ステージ8
丸石でKroac宅の屋根を補修する。

[Cobblestone]を手に持った状態で屋根の穴を右クリックすると補修出来る。全部で4カ所。

※補修完了せずに離れようとした場合
ダイアログ:
Kroac: I'm sorry, but your patchjob fell apart. You'll need something like 10 cobblestone to help fix this.
(Kroac：申し訳ないけど、補修はまだ終わってないよ。補修には丸石10個が必要だよ。)

※補修が完了した場合
Kroac: That'll do just fine, kind soldier! You're a lifesaver, really, you are.
(Kroac：それで良いよ、親切な兵士さん！君は命の恩人だ、いや本当に。)

Kroac: Wait, you're going after the thing that did this? Really?! Fantastic! That's a load off my mind.
(Kroac：待ってくれ、君はこれをやった奴を追いかけているのかい？本当に?! 凄いじゃないか！私も心が軽くなるよ。)

Kroac: Look's like there's tracks off to the east... big tracks. Good luck following it, stay safe!
(Kroac：東の方に足跡があるみたいだ…大きな足跡だね。頑張って追いかけてくれよ、気をつけてな！)

獣の足跡を辿って行く。

ダイアログ:
Rileen: EVERYONE, MOVE! THE BEAST IS ON A RAMPAGE!
(Rileen：皆逃げて！獣が大暴れしているの！)

Rileen: Aah, no! There were people in that house!
(Rileen：ああ、ダメよ！その家には人がいたのに！)

That must have been the beast! The villagers need help first though!
(あれが獣に違いない！だがVillager達を助けるのが先だ！)

Rileen: Wah! H-Human! Get away, there's nothing you can help with here!
(Rileen：わっ！に、人間！逃げてちょうだい、貴方に出来る事は何も無いわよ！)

Rileen: All your type does is break and hurt! You have more in common with the giant there than any of us!
(Rileen：貴方みたいなのは皆、壊したり傷つけたりするんでしょ！貴方は私達よりもあの巨人と似たようなものなんだから！)

Rileen: Aah, there's so many people hurt already, don't make it worse please!
(Rileen：ああ、もう大勢の人が傷ついているのに、これ以上悪化させないでよ、お願い！)

Rileen: We don't even have any medicine...
(Rileen：薬だって何も無いし…。)

Rileen: Ugh, think Rileen! You have the herbs, what else goes into the poultices...
(Rileen：うぅ、考えるのよ、Rileen！薬草はあるわ、湿布に使うのは他には…。)

Rileen: Oh, right! Fish oil.... but I don't have a rod, gah!
(Rileen：ああ、そっか！魚の脂…でも釣竿が無いのよね、ああもう！)

Rileen: There's no way I can get [10 Salmon Oil], even if that pond out back is teeming with fish...
(Rileen：[Salmon Oil]を10本なんて集めようがないわ、裏の池には魚が沢山いるのに…。)

She just keeps worrying over what she can do. Seems like getting the oil might help her calm down.

[Salmon Oil]を10本集める。

ダイアログ:
Rileen: No, there's no time to make a fishing spear- AAH! You're still here? What do you WANT?!
(Rileen：ダメよ、魚を獲る槍を作る暇なんて——ああ！貴方まだここにいたの？何が目的?! )

Rileen: W-wait, what's... is this... This is salmon oil! Ten bottles of it! You...you heard me talking?
(Rileen：ま、待って、何…これ…これってサーモンオイルじゃない！ボトル10本分も！貴方…私の話を聞いてたの？)

Rileen: And you went out of your way to... What kind of human are you? I've only ever heard horror stories about your kind.
(Rileen：それでわざわざ…。貴方はどういう類いの人間なのよ？怖い話しか聞いた事が無いわ。)

Rileen: ...
(Rileen：…。)

Rileen: ...maybe you're not so bad. I don't have anything that I can give you in return, but thank you, still.

Rileen: I think it went into the cave east of here. Go for it! Stop that thing before it causes more damage!

Dereg: You're back! Any luck hunting the thing down?
(Dereg：戻って来たのか！獲物は見つかったのかい？)

Dereg: What? You actually found the beast?! Heck of a hunting job, human!
(Dereg：何だって？本当に見つけたのか?! 大した狩りの腕前だねえ、人間！)

Dereg: You wouldn't be back here if you didn't manage to kill it... which means our problems are solved, right?
(Dereg：奴を殺せてなかったら君は今ここにいないだろうし…つまり、僕達の問題は解決したって事だね？)

Dereg: Heheh! That bone powder looks giant enough to me! Great job, bucko!

Dereg: The weapon merchant in Olux researches cryptids as a hobby, and that beast seemed one-of-a-kind to me.

Dereg: You should show him that bone powder! He might have some good gear for you.
