眠りのキノコを使った解決策をとろうとしたとき、キノコがネズミやノームに対するのとまったく同じ効果を人間に及ぼさない場合には、思いもよらぬ複雑な事態に陥るかもしれない…

ステージ1
Talk to Psilo in the mushroom cave.
キノコの洞窟にいるPsilo（サイロ）に話しかける。
洞窟の場所
Psilo: Welcome, large human! What's that look for, never seen a Gnome before?! My house may look small, but it's perfect for me!
（サイロ：いらっしゃい、大きな人間よ！ どうしたその表情は？ ノームを見るのは初めてかな？ 僕の家は小さく見えるかもしれないが、僕にはぴったりなのだよ！）
Psilo: I actually need some help, you see Razorice plague my home! They are similar to the rats of your province, but vicious and deadly to Gnomes!
（サイロ：実は助けが欲しくてな、家の中でラゾリスがはびこっていて困っているのだ！ ラゾリスは君の地方でいうネズミに似ているのだが、ノームにとっては凶暴で命に関わる！）
Psilo: An easy fix exists for it though. There are many magical mushrooms in this cave and a rare one called Subtraxerim Utilium is the one we need.
（サイロ：でも、簡単な解決策があるのだよ。この洞窟には魔法のキノコがたくさんあるのだが、その中でも僕らが欲しいのがマメオトシと呼ばれる珍しいキノコさ。）
Psilo: It emits a sleeping spore that will knock the Razorice out long enough to kill them! I've seen one in the cave but every time I go to get it, I fall asleep!
（サイロ：そのキノコから出る眠りの胞子が、ラゾリスを殺すのには十分な時間気絶させるのさ。この洞窟で見たことがあるのだが、僕では取りに行くたびに眠ってしまうのだよ。）
Psilo: I left a trail of spores from the location. Since you're so big, you won't fall asleep! Please retrieve some mushroom for me.
（サイロ：キノコがある場所から胞子の跡を残してきた。君は体が大きいから、寝てしまうことはないだろう！ どうかそのキノコを取ってきてくれないかな。）
Psilo: I think I left a trail of rainbow spores last time I tried to collect some, just follow the colours through the cave to find the mushroom!
（サイロ：この前取りに行こうとした時にできた虹色の胞子の跡が残っているはずだから、それに沿って洞窟を進んでいけばキノコは見つかるはずさ！）
ステージ2
Find the Subtraxerim Utilium mushroom in the cave and bring it back to Psilo.
洞窟でマメオトシを見つけてサイロの元へ持ち帰る。

Psilo: Did you find any? Wait, something is different about you. Have you gotten smaller? Oh my...
（サイロ：見つかったかい？ 待って、何か様子が違うぞ。小さくなっているのかい？ なんと…）
Psilo: ... You have.
（サイロ：…小さくなっているな。）
Psilo: I’m really sorry about this, I didn't think the mushroom would have a different effect on humans! But what did I expect from a mushroom that changes colour?!
（サイロ：これに関しては本当に申し訳ない、あのキノコは人間には違う効果があるとは思わなかったのだよ！ しかし僕は色が変わるキノコに何を期待していたのか！）
Psilo: Do not panic. I have a mushroom in my house that wakes people up; logic says that if the sleeping mushroom shrinks you, then this one should make you grow again!
（サイロ：落ち着こう。僕の家には目覚めのキノコがあるのだ。眠らせるキノコが体を縮めるというのなら、そのキノコは君の体を大きくして元に戻せるはずさ！）
Psilo: Oh my, you are still shrinking before my eyes. You must hurry to the mushroom. Be careful, though! The Razorice will probably hunt you!
（サイロ：おいおい、まだ僕の目の前で縮み続けているぞ。キノコのところへ急ぐのだ。でも気をつけておくれ！ ラゾリスはきっと襲いかかってくる！）
Psilo: I keep it on the top shelf, so you will probably have to fight them at some point... If you kill them while you’re there, we can kill two birds with one stone! Just follow the cheese crumbs to find them!
（サイロ：キノコは棚の一番上に置いてあるから、いつかはあやつらと戦う必要があるだろうな… ついでに君がやっつけてくれれば一石二鳥さ！ チーズのくずをたどっていけば見つかるぞ！）
Psilo: Good luck! Oh and, do watch out for my pet zombie.
（サイロ：頑張ってくれ！ それと、僕のペットのゾンビに気をつけておくれ。）

Find the mushroom in Psilo's house.
サイロの家でキノコを見つける

Get to the mouse nest by following the cheese trail and get rid of the pest.
チーズの跡をたどってネズミの巣まで行き、害虫を駆除する。

You've taken care of the Razorice problem, now you just have to find that blue mushroom Psilo was talking about...

Get to the blue mushroom and return to normal size.

Give Psilo the good news about the mice.
サイロにネズミについて朗報を伝える。
Psilo: What the... my house! What did you do?!
（サイロ：なんだ…僕の家が！ 何をしたのだ？！）
Psilo: Springy plant? Bookshelf levers? Razorice king?! Hold on a moment, slow down and tell me properly.
（サイロ：バネみたいな草？ 本棚にレバー？ ラゾリスのボス？！ ちょっと待て、ゆっくり、ちゃんと教えておくれ。）
Psilo: I see. Well, at least you handled those damned Razorice, and I can actually live in my house again - not that it'll offer much shelter now you've blown a hole in the side of it!
（サイロ：なるほど。まあ、少なくとも君はあの忌々しいラゾリスを駆除してくれたし、僕はまた自分の家に住める！ 君が家に穴を開けてしまったから家の中が安全というわけではないのだが。）
Psilo: Ah, I suppose that's alright. The mushroom will grow back over to cover it - and righto, your reward!
（サイロ：ああ、それでいいのだよ。キノコが成長すればその穴も塞がるさ。そして、お礼をしよう！）
Psilo: Here, take some of our Gnome gold, we have plenty to go around. And sorry about the whole you-getting-shrunk thing, but hey, being small isn't so bad! See you around, human!
（サイロ：ほら、ノームのお宝をいくつかもらっておくれ、僕らもたくさん持っているのだよ。そして君が縮んでしまったことについては申し訳ない。でもどうだ、小さくなるというのも案外悪くないだろう！ それじゃあな、人間よ！）

補足
- 家の中に入った直後から、移動スペルを駆使して直接青いキノコのところへ行けば、家の中でのイベントを全てスキップできる。
- Gnome's Ringは❋Air関連のスキル、逆にGiant's Ringは✤Earth関連のスキルに重点を置いている。
- Subtraxerim Utiliumの訳を「マメオトシ」としましたが、公式または正確な訳ではありません。「マメ（小さい者）を眠りに落とす」そして「人間のサイズを豆並に落とす」2つの効果から編集者がこじつけながら意訳したものです。
